Have a Healthy Pregnancy
EHP is pleased to offer Partners with Mom, a pregnancy case management program for expectant moms. This program will help you manage your health during your pregnancy. You will get education and support during your pregnancy and right after your baby is born!
You will be connected with an OB nurse who will work with you and your physician to coordinate your care if you develop complications with your pregnancy.
When you call our Chat with a Nurse line, you will be able to speak toll-free to a real registered nurse for general medical advice. Nurses are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To speak with a nurse, call 1-877-839-5414 and enter pin #380.
Effective 2013, for specific plans (please refer to your plan specific benefits), the HRSA guidelines expand to include additional preventive care benefits for women, including: contraceptive devices approved by the Food and Drug Administration, generic prescription contraceptive drugs, voluntary sterilization, breast pumps and related supplies. View the complete list of the covered preventive services for women.
EHP covers the cost of a standard electric breast pump when requested by your OB. Talk to your OB at your next prenatal appointment and use the EHP Benefits Explorer to learn more about specific coverage. When using the Benefits Explorer simply select your employer, choose the medical benefit, and then select durable medical equipment. You can also browse our durable medical equipment (DME) Provider Directory.
Infertility treatment (in-vitro fertilization (“IVF”) and artificial insemination) must be pre-certified by the Care Management Program. Specific exclusions, limitations, and maximums may apply. Please refer to your plan specific benefits.
