What is this vaccine?

A vaccine that protects you from the human papillomavirus. This virus is linked to cervical and many other types of cancer.

Who needs this vaccine?

It’s recommended for children at age 11 or 12 but it can be started as early as age 9. Catch-up vaccination is recommended for people through age 26 who were not adequately vaccinated when younger. Adults ages 27 through 45 may also consider HPV vaccination after talking with their health care provider.
